BEFORE YOU START
First time at MAS? Make sure you arrive 10 minutes before class to meet our staff and receive your uniform. Don’t Forget to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. Our staff will be happy to give you a tour of the centre to acquaint you with our facilities.
Make sure you take your shoes and socks off and place them in the shelves with your bottle. Parents are more than welcome to jump onto the mats together with their shy child.
Stretching is an important part of the lesson! To prevent injuries we have a set stretching routine to begin our classes.
Like an engine, we slowly build up the heat in our body and muscles to be ready for the main component of the class!
During the main component of the class, students are taught the focus of the week. Every week is different! From kicks to punches to self-defence, each class teaches you the techniques required for your next belt.
As we finish off the class, we slowly bring our heart rate down and start our cool down. From stretches to meditation, yuo will be ending the class feeling great!
